Ms. Tate is a ray of pure sunshine to everyone she knows. She has the most kind, welcoming, and dynamic spirit. Ms. Tate started out as a school custodian with Cumberland County Schools and now works as a cafeteria worker and school bus driver. The students at Long Hill Elementary School love Ms. Tate and the warmth she brings to them, and her dishes.
"I met Tasha two years ago at Long Hill Elementary where she was then working as a custodian. Tasha and I ended up talking for about an hour, and not just about her retirement," said Via.
Ms. Tate is a mother of three and also a loving wife to her husband, Dwayne. She values her family and friends, but her love for others doesn’t just stop there. Ms. Tate spreads this love to her coworkers and the students at Long Hill. Ms. Tate is surely deserving of recognition for all of her kindness and hard work!

Latasha’s warm personality creates a safe space with anyone she comes in contact with, always bringing positivity in any environment she’s in. Her work ethic is top tier with the dedication to complete any task that’s thrown her way.
Ms.Tate shows true compassion and is willing to go above and beyond for students. She shows leadership, compassion and empathy through and through.
I met Mrs. Tate when she was the custodian at Lake Rim Elementary School in 2021. She is the most kindest and sweetest individual you would ever meet. The students and staff loved her. I had the opportunity the work with her for two years. Staff was very upset to lose her to Long Hill ES. She is very dependable and someone that you can count on!
Thanks for bringing light and laughter to the kitchen staff. It makes the day so much more joyous.
Latasha has been an inspiration to any or everyone she comes in contact with. Her advice is so empowering for anyone who asks her whether it is a good day or bad day for her. She makes you feel confident in any decision you make in life. It brings her joy to see her peers win at life.
