Music that Describes Caroline
Caroline Trinder was nominated by a colleague, Ben Harris.
Ms. Trinder is among the most energetic and positive school employees you will ever meet. She is dedicated to creating healthy and delicious meals for students every day!
"As a supervisor, she is not afraid to roll up her sleeves to ensure food is prepared and ready on time for our students daily. Ms. Trinder is also very dedicated to the health and well-being of the staff at RSU 23," said Harris.
She created the RSU 23 Olympics. This great event, now in its third year, is where schools compete against one another in a friendly but competitive atmosphere for the coveted RSU 23 Olympic Championship Belt. The half-day competition is a mixture of mental, physical, and speed. There are roughly a dozen events, allowing every staff member in the district to compete.
"Ms. Trinder is also the brainchild behind RSU 23's wellness initiative, where there is a host of wellness activities once per month during professional development. Ms. Trinder has worked closely with our district's administrative team to make this block of wellness time a reality with huge success," said Harris.
"Ms. Trinder is also the president-elect of the Maine School Nutrition Association, a group she has been very active with since joining RSU 23. Above all of her professional accomplishments, she is the mother of two students at Jameson Elementary School. She is always positive and willing to help out," said Harris.
"It is without reservation that I nominate Caroline Trinder as a real 'LifeChanger,'" said Harris.
