Precious Jackson-Hubbard was nominated by Jarasion Bowser, a member of the community.
Mrs. Hubbard has shown true commitment to the community and the school she oversees. She built a food pantry for more than 80 identified homeless children who attend her school. She also brought in nonprofit organizations on campus to teach financial literacy, entrepreneurship, life skills, college prep and job training to her students. Finally, Mrs. Hubbard runs a program that puts at-risk underserved young girls on the pathway to college. This program would keep them from going down the wrong path.
"I have witnessed first hand Mrs Hubbard's love for her students and community she serves," Bowser said. "That is why she's a LifeChanger in our community."
