Ms. Carney is a humble, reserved powerhouse of an employee. Her ability to support three different district offices and attend to critical levels of detail within each is to be commended. She is self-directed and maintains professional composure when supporting all stakeholders. Ms. Carney maintains high standards visible in every task she supports. She also has innate graphic design skills, which she has used to enhance all school district communication. Ms. Carney is sensitive and caring and thrives on building community in the work environment.

"She can identify and celebrate each of the traits that make the team members in our departments unique. I acknowledge Ms. Carney's brilliance, talent, and compassion each school day," said Pappalardo.

Ms. Carney consistently demonstrates a proven record of professional excellence! Through her quiet demeanor and positive interpersonal interactions she supports administrators and colleagues in a variety of projects, that in turn, result in favorable outcomes for the larger school community. I appreciate her willingness to assist whenever a need arises. Regardless of what is asked, Ms. Carney fulfills the request in a timely manner, thus affording her colleagues the opportunity to directly focus on student and staff needs. Ms. Carney is a strong example of the "behind the scenes" support personnel that are needed in order to make all the departments of a school district run smoothly. She is well deserving of the Life Changer of the Year award!
