Alexander is passionate about providing the very best care to an ethnically diverse student body and making sure all of their health needs are met. She is also passionate about teaching students about good oral hygiene as a way to improve health.

Tara Alexander is an AMAZING nurse and student advocate in her role in our School District. Her attention to detail and her skills as a nurse have been felt through out the district. Notably, she was celebrated and awarded a "Saved a Life Award" for her assessment of an emerging medical concern- and was able to help this student get the urgent care she needed. Tara is always looking for ways to improve her practice and is a valued member of our health team. I am proud to have her here with us and look forward to the positive impact she continues to bring to her students, the families and the staff here in Yakima. She is very deserving of this recognition!! Tara, Thank you for all you do!!
