Ms. Thayer is passionate about making sure students can read and think about what they are reading. She cares about reaching students where they are. Ms. Thayer wants each one of her kids to feel that they can learn more and make goals for their future. She is also passionate about every student finding what matters to them and what they hope for their futures.

At Goldendale High School, Laura goes above and beyond educator expectations to serve our students. Laura is a good communicator and an innovative problem-solver. In addition to her teaching schedule, Laura is our "Librarian" and coordinates resources available in the library to ensure all students have access to materials. Laura keeps our students at the center of her work. Thanks for all the things you do at Goldendale High School to serve our community!!
