Karena is the most supportive and caring person that I know. She takes pride in all walks of life and is always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. She has been here for me and my family throughout every step of our adventure. From raising myself to raising my own children and now my grandchildren. Over the years she has taught us strength, loyalty, love and kindness all while guiding and teaching us along the way. She takes every opportunity to teach and to inspire young lives and even older lives who are blessed to cross her path. She is amazing at what she does and I cannot think of anyone more deserving than she to be honored to be named a life changer of the year. Karena has changed my life by teaching me what it truly means to be loyal and caring. She is very passionate at what she does. She takes every opportunity possible to do what she is best at. Teach!

Karena is a wonderful teacher and colleague of mine and I am so happy she is being nominated for this award. I worked as a behavior analyst at the school she taught at and she was always eager to help out in anyway for kids who had behavioral challenges. She never complained not one time if I needed her to fill in working with one of my students and always had a smile on her face. Anytime I worked in Karena class room she put her whole heart into all of her students, even the ones who had behavioral difficulties. This award is well deserved!

I am so excited to see that Karena has been nominated for this award. She is a special person and has dedicated many years to the educational field helping children of all ages to achieve success. She works tirelessly on a daily basis to ensure she offers her whole self to their success. After long hours daily in the classroom she continues to offer extra hours to tudor children in need of extra help. She has reached out across the states to help explain math problems to my grandchildren, explaining processes to help them understand. It would be a great honor for her to be selected as the life changer of the year. She is well deserving of the award.

Mrs. Cross is amazing. I know that if I ever have any trouble with homework of my own or with my child she is a phone call away. She puts her whole heart into everything she sets her mind to, and her passion is incredible. She has a creative mind and uses every opportunity as a teaching experience. Way to Go Mrs. Cross, you completely deserve this nomination.
