Ms. Traverso is passionate about finding ways to inspire students to learn. She wants to help students enjoy school and encourage them to prioritize it in their lives! Children all learn differently; so, Ms. Traverso strives to meet them where they are, and with what they need, to be successful. She is working to incorporate more flexible seating options to allow students the freedom to learn in a classroom area that feels best to them.
Ms. Holley Traverso is an amazing teacher for my son in 1st grade. She is so caring, patient, and truly dedicated to her students. She is making such a big difference in my son’s life by creating a positive and loving classroom where he feels happy and excited to learn every day. She inspires her students and helps them grow, not just in their studies but as kind and confident individuals. I’m so grateful for all she does and believe she truly deserves to be Life Changer of the Year!
Mrs. Traverse is very patient with children ! I only know one other person that this patient with children is she is! She never raises her voice it doesn't yell he speaks very softly to them and tries to find out why they did what they did what their problem is what's bothering them and explains to them why they can't do that anymore in very simple words that any child can understand he loves children she loves teaching she goes overboard to make sure that her children have what they need her students couldn't ask for a better teacher!!! My daughter is in Mrs. Traverso's first grade class this year. Every day my daughter comes home with stories of all the fun and interesting things Mrs. Traverso incorporates into her classroom to make learning fun and exciting. If you go to RCSA you see Mrs. Traverso EVERYWHERE showing up for her school on a daily basis whether it's heading up the afternoon car line, filling in for teachers on field trips, or organizing the many events held to raise money for the safety patrol! She is absolutely a life changer for so many little kids!
We have loved her since she subbed for kindergarten, for my now 8th grader. We had her again in kindergarten for another daughter and she's always been positive and helpful!! Can't say enough great things about her!!
I will forever be grateful that my daughter had Mrs. Traverso as her teacher in Kindergarten! It was the beginning of Covid and Mrs. Traverso poured her heart into her classroom and her students to make it as “normal” as a year as possible for them. She finds creative ways to incorporate various learning styles and genuinely cares about each and every one of her students as if they were her own. She is the kind of teacher students remember for years to come.

In regards to this award there is no words about this lady as a family member, friend she's an amazing working mom, teacher and best of all wife, this lady wend she gets her mind on doing things she gets it done, have no idea how much she gets done and still continue her mom duties. I'm not surprised this award she's amazing and we all love her for it, I am proud and now that this award she has accomplished is well deserve, I am so glad she's part of my family , we are so greatful at all the things she can manage and commit! Mrs. Traverso has been an amazing teacher! We were lucky to get her for both our kids. She is extremely organized with her expectations and communication with parents. She goes above and beyond to ensure the class is learning while having fun. She also works the carline at the end of every long day. She works hard to ensure kids are dismissed and in their cars as efficiently as possible. She always has a smile and has changed many students lives. We are grateful to have her at RCSA!!
I've been friends with Holley for around 4 years now and she is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, she's so uplifting and supportive. I've also been around her family multiple times and she's an amazing mom, I wish I would have had a teacher like her growing up!
