She is so easy to love ??
Ms. Pearce is hands down the best special ed teacher! My son is in the 11th grade and has been in the special ed setting for his whole schooling. Every other special ed teacher he has had, never really took the time nor effort to really get to know him for who he truly is, but, here comes Ms. Pearce his 9th grade year and my son started to thrive and started to LOVE school. All because of her. She took the time to get to know my son and she has advocated for him and got him to be where he is today!
Ms. Pearce is a Godsend to my family and has been our biggest ally when it comes to my son.
We love you Ms. Pearce!!!
I speak from the perspective of a grandmother watching her grandson's journey through school. He moved to this school for his Junior and Senior years with some concern about how to succeed. Andrea Pearce can connect with him and encourage him in his work so much so that he even feels able to help others with their work. She has been a huge support to my daughter as she helps my grandson move forward. Because she is involved, my grandson will graduate and be prepared for the next steps in his life journey. Mrs. Pearce has my undying thanks and respect for her life calling! Thank you for this opportunity to comment!
Andrea Pearce has been fantastic for my son with Down syndrome. She has more patience than I can imagine, and there is such a huge sense of relief knowing my son is in school happy and safe.
Mrs. Pearce has been my teacher since I started at the high school. I am thankful for all her help and kindness. She has made it so I don’t stress out as much about my school work which helps me to get it done. I have been doing better since she has been able to guide me.
There are no words to describe the positive impact Mrs. Pearce has made for my son. She has gone above and beyond for him. She makes sure he is learning in the way he learns best and also makes sure his learning goals are for his specific needs. Changes are made to his learning ways if needed. Very willing and happy to work with the families. She takes his future plan and works to prepare him for that as well. I have witnessed her love and care for these kids. She has a special way with them and they know they are loved which helps them push forward. Mrs. Pearce isn’t a teacher because it’s her job, I can clearly see she does it to help others and we will forever be grateful for her guidance and care! Great job to Mrs. Pearce!!
