Ms. Carter is passionate about helping students learn to their full potential. She understands that not all students learn the same or even at the same rate. Ms. Carter teaches Special Education Inclusion classes in both English and Math. She has the chance to work with students in their homeroom class, in addition to providing extra help in her individual classroom. With the LifeChanger Back to School Grant, Ms. Carter would love to add some flexible seating options to help her students focus better in class. This would allow the students to choose what type of seat they could have, and not have to sit at a regular desk. This set-up could help the students get their "wiggles" out and not interrupt the class during a lesson. She would also use the grant for some basic supplies that would give the students a chance to clear their mind while she is working one on one with another student.
