"Mardia is an amazing, outside-the-box teacher. Her classes are creative, hands-on, and project-based. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that her students are learning. She mentors veteran teachers as well as new teachers. She is brilliant but never makes you feel bad if you do not understand something. Schools need more teachers like her," said Miller.
