I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Dr. Carlos Miranda since we first met at the Paterson NJ Great Falls Science Expo in May 2023. Since that time, Carlos (and his son) attended several of my NASA Solar System Ambassador presentations in North Jersey and I was greatly impressed with his knowledge of and enthusiasm for space science. I was very pleased when Carlos informed me that he was selected this year to be a Solar System Ambassador. His traveling planetarium programs here in North Jersey have proven to be extremely popular with people of all ages and his presentation skills are top notch. Carlos is absolutely a rising star in communicating his love of space science to all who keep their eyes on the skies. While I am sure that the other nominees also have excellent credentials, from first-hand knowledge, I believe that nobody deserves to be awarded the title of "LifeChanger of the Year" more than my friend, Dr. Carlos Miranda.
