Rebecca Sprouse was nominated by her spouse, Scott Sprouse.

"Becca loves this job! She has been in law enforcement, worked as a firefighter/EMT, and owned a bakery, but this is her favorite career! Becca has not missed a day of work yet! She could not wait to accrue days off in her other careers because of burnout. She helped turn around the entire morale of the students by being more than a lunch lady," said Scott. "She was given the title by the students of 'The Elite Lunch Lady.'"

"Becca meets the students with a smile, and even the current lingo in use, and the students love it. Students open up to her, and she encourages them. One parent took the time to tell Becca that their son told them the best part of going to school is seeing what Becca has for encouragement and that he does not want to miss a day! Becca goes above and beyond to get to know each kid. In return, her school has changed things to include cafeteria staff in everything," said Scott.

"Becca makes as many games and events for the students as possible, even the far three-hour-away ones (We do not have any students in high school). The coaches ensure that Becca is included in as many sporting events as possible. Becca made signs for the football team before every game. The players are so excited to see these signs that they always touch them before their game for 'good luck.' Becca is a light for these students and wants to provide a positive experience during these important years," said Scott.
