Antonia Arnold was nominated anonymously.
"Mrs. Arnold is a teacher who engages and connects with many students daily. She is always approachable for any help a student needs. Mrs. Arnold always tries to accommodate and understand students' needs to further their education. Multiple students enjoy her kind, charming personality and enjoy connecting with her in class," said the nominator.
Mrs. Arnold's leadership in STEM education is a testament to her innovative and exciting approach. Her projects, such as using software like TinkerCad to bring students' designs to life on the classroom's 3D printer, or creating crafts that bridge the gap between STEM and each grade's curriculum, inspire a love for learning in all students.
"She also demonstrates leadership outside of school, running an extracurricular activity known as the Technology Student Association (TSA), a national technology submission competition. Mrs. Arnold has worked hard to make the competition and field trip come true and helped students develop the best versions of their submissions they can," said the nominator.
"She has impacted many students' lives positively this school year, leading to many long-time bonds with students and making her a LifeChanger for many people," said the nominator.
Mrs. Arnold is an amazing teacher and makes every day fun. I had a wonderful time in her class. She is always kind and helpful. Mrs. Arnold is very knowledgeable in many things especially technology. She is always willing to give support and advice. She’s given a lot of fun and creative projects. Mrs. Arnold is one of my favorite teachers. I’ll always love her and her class.
I had the pleasure of hiring Mrs. Arnold as a teacher right out of college. I vividly remember interviewing Antonia at The College of New Jersey Educator Interview Day. I immediately knew that we needed to have her as a part of our faculty. Antonia is professional, smart, dedicated, creative, kind, and a lot of fun.
Mrs. Arnold was hired to teach in the role of Middle School STEM. Antonia was pivotal in building (what is now) a tremendous STEM program at Secaucus Middle School.
Antonia Arnold does more than educate her students, she inspires them.
Mrs. Arnold was one of the most important figures of school career! During the years of having her in various STEM classes, she taught me very valuable skills, and even a passion for topics like 3d modeling and the engineering industry. One of the traits that Mrs. Arnold has that puts her above the rest, is her amazing support for her students. As a junior, she is still able to give me support on different projects and give me the best resources possible to complete whatever task I was doing. I truly believe that my life's direction has changed due to her class, and I am happy to know that she was nominated for this award.
Ms. Arnold was truly one of the most polite, kind, and engaging teachers I have ever met. She was the teacher who first introduced STEM in engaging ways by giving us fun projects for us to explore the individual fields of STEM. Ms. Arnold is not only a great teacher, but also a great person! She would always try to support her students and encourage them to keep moving forward. I remember when I made a google slides presentation that represented a video game for one of her projects. Even though it wasn’t finished, Ms. Arnold commented that it was the best presentation that she had ever seen and wished that it was finished. Those words of encouragement really made my day! They had motivated me to continue working on it, and I hadn’t forgotten about it ever since.
I had Ms.Arnold when I was in sixth grade and now as a rising senior I have still not forgotten about the impact she has had on me. Not only did she go above and beyond as a teacher in STEM, however she always made sure to let her students know she was and will always be there for them whenever needed. I remember Ms.Arnold tried to make class fun everyday by introducing us to new projects and teaching us current issues in the fields of math, science, engineering and technology (not something every teacher does). Not only that, Ms.Arnold was the advisor for TSA when I was in middle school and she is really the major reason behind my way of thinking when any issue comes upon me. Now when I see Ms.Arnold in the hall I cannot thank her enough for always being there. She set up the best foundations for me as a student and she is still always there for me. She is so deserving of this award and I cannot think of anyone who deserves it more.
Ms. Arnold was one of the best teachers I had throughout all of my years in the Secaucus education system. She also did her best to support students, and get them involved in the world of STEM. I wish her nothing but the best, and hope that she is chosen for this award.
Honestly the best teacher ever! I loved my time in STEM with her and it was truly the best out of all my other classes. I also loved TSA too and she was a really good club teacher. She helped us with many things and was not only a great teacher too but also a great friend/person to hang out with and talk too. We love you Mrs. Arnold!
i love mrs. arnold!! she’s such an amazing teacher and she’s my favorite teacher throughout of all the teachers i have had. she’s amazing at teaching stem and i couldn’t ask for a better stem teacher. she’s so polite, friendly, and supportive!! i could talk to her about anything and she’ll always listen. every time when im around mrs. arnold i feel good about myself, she always gives me the best advice, is always there for me throughout out my ups and downs, and more. i’m so so thankful for her and all that she’s done for me.

Mrs. Arnold was the best STEM teacher during my middle school years! She is always there for all of her students, to simply help with a problem, school related or not. Not only did she make STEM interesting, she made STEM SO fun! To this day, as a sophomore, I use her "mindful Monday" exercises. Sometimes you need brain-break, and taking a minute to breathe was, and still is very helpful! In all, Mrs. Arnold is a wonderful teacher and human, I am so grateful to have gotten to know her and I wish her the best of luck!!

During my time in middle school, Mrs. Arnold was always my favorite teacher. Middle school was my first exposure to the principles of STEM, and Mrs. Arnold's class was the perfect introduction to the field. With STEM being such a vast and expansive field, the projects and classwork that Mrs. Arnold assigned constantly kept me actively engaged and learning new things. Everyday, I felt a sense of excitement before going to class, eager to start new projects or learn new topics. The different projects she assigned enabled me to utilize my creativity and knowledge, constantly keeping my mind thinking and learning.
Aside from her powerful education in STEM, her kindness towards me has truly made her memorable to me. Mrs. Arnold's positivity has echoed throughout my life, reminding me to always be kind and pushing me to become a better person. I remember she told me that smiles are contagious, and initially I was unsure of what she meant; however, when she smiled at me, I couldn't help but smile back, and I finally realized what she meant. She has always provided her students with immense consideration, thoughtfulness, and understanding, causing her to become a figure I looked up to and trusted. Mrs. Arnold is the embodiment of passion, altruism, warmth, and continuously shares generosity and optimism to each student she teaches.
I'm eternally grateful for the years I spent with her and the education she has provided. She has inspired me to work hard in school, be kind, and chase my dreams. Mrs. Arnold is the kind of teacher you always remember, and her impact will leave an indelible mark in your life.

I love Mrs.Arnold. She has always been my favorite teacher and will continue to be so. When I walked into my S.T.E.M class on the first day of Middle School I was terrified, but she made it seem like everything would be just fine, even throughout COVID. She immediately became a role model for me as she displayed kindness and genuine care for everything she did as a teacher and as a person. She makes it easy for anyone to talk to her about anything and provides an open and safe space to talk or ask for guidance. She is extremely dedicated and will continue to provide her best for her students, even if everyone is having a rough day. She truly changed my life as she is someone who I look up to every day in character and is who inspiried me to want to soon major in Enginnering in college and take it on as a carreer. Mrs. Arnold has been a person I could go to talk to time and time again, even after my time in her respective class. From her first year in the district was when I had gotten the chance to know her, and ever since she has been someone I could rely on for advice and comfort when needed. She is one of the most kind, intelligent, and genuine people I know. The time she took off when she had her baby, truly showed how much of an impact she has on her students, especially when all of them missed her and couldn’t wait for her to be back, including me. Mrs. Arnold is most deserving of this award for how much she does outside of the classroom to help out her students and staff members, and to ensure everyone is happy and safe. Mrs. Arnold is a radiant light in our district that we were lucky to find and that’s why I think she should receive this award!
The reasons that make Mrs. Arnold such a great teacher are never ending. She has made me feel loved and comfortable throughout the my first year of middle school whether it was in her class or in Technology Student Association. Her ability to teach us new subjects while making it fun and interactive is something that kept all of my fellow classmates engaged and looking forward to her class. Whenever I needed someone to talk to whether I was overwhelmed with school work or just wanting a good laugh, Mrs. Arnold would be the one I would go to. She guided me through the intense first year of middle school, making her a teacher to remember. There would be nothing in the world that would be equal to the intimacy she gives me. I will forever remember when I used to go to her room before school overwhelmed with upcoming projects and TSA work, and she always pushed me to keep going and work through the stress. I am so glad I listened to her advice as it made me feel accomplished and good about myself. Mrs. Arnold is inspiring, loving, kind, and has made such a difference on my life!
