"Mr. Akdins possesses a remarkable passion for drama and a genuine desire to nurture young talent. This passion is evident in his willingness to dedicate countless hours outside of school to various activities:

• Directing and assisting school plays: He tirelessly invests personal time in directing school plays, ensuring every student has the opportunity to shine.
• Mentoring students: Mr. Adkins readily provides individual guidance and support to students, helping them overcome challenges and develop their confidence.
• Organizing workshops and extracurricular activities: He frequently organizes workshops and extracurricular activities related to drama every year, fostering a vibrant and inclusive theatrical community within the school.
• Fundraising and securing resources: Mr. Adkins actively seeks funding and resources to support the drama program, ensuring students have access to the necessary equipment and opportunities. Mr. Adkins truly embodies the spirit of a dedicated educator. He freely gives his time and energy, not for personal gain but for the love of the art form and the desire to inspire students.

"He has always helped those kids who just needed a safe place to be and to learn to be passionate about something.  He runs a student-led program, and you see the kids blossom yearly."
