Lori Warren was nominated by her principal, Tina Bankston.

Mrs. Warren works diligently with teachers and staff to provide intervention services for students who are academically below grade level. She is in charge of facilitating intervention meetings to review student data and set goals, and she also oversees instructional teaching.  Mrs. Warren's role is critical to the overall success and growth of her school.  She understands the importance of the "whole child" approach and works to coordinate academic, behavior, social and health-related services needed for student success.  She also serves as a mentor to new intervention specialists and helps train new teachers as well.

I have been afforded the privilege of working with Lori for the past few years. Lori works countless hours making sure interventions are being carried out and done correctly. There are many hours that she spends at home making sure intervention paperwork is completed and ready for our meetings. Many people do not realize the abundance of unseen tasks that Lori takes on that are vital to our school as a whole. She definitely deserves this nomination!

Lori is indeed a blessing to our students and me. I enjoy working with her because she sincerely wants the best for each and every child within her reach! She has this incredible ability to help students recognize their potential and create a functional plan to help them achieve it! She works tirelessly behind the scenes to support us (teachers) so that we have greater resources to help close the achievement gap. Lori's positive attitude and gracefulness inspire us all!
