LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Warren Wegener was nominated by a colleague, Gabriela Sosa. 

Mr. Wegener is an excellent communicator and listener. He is so good at speaking with students and adults, and makes time to speak with anyone who needs it. He coordinates AP testing , proctors tests, attends meetings, volunteers for field trips to take students to colleges, and serves as the contact person for many colleges and Universities. He also makes himself available even during his lunch, goes out to lunch supervision to interact with students. He is the counselor in the school STEM program, and handles ACT and SAT fee waivers for the school.

"He works diligently and never complains and is always smiling and joking around.  He is a great person to just hang around with," Sosa said. "He is very knowledgeable and guides and directs students to the best colleges, and opportunities.  Since Warren graduated from Morse High School, he knows this community and understands what the students go through.  I am very proud to nominate such a great human being that I am very blessed to know and learn from.  He deserves to win, because he touches so many lives."
