I have had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Biggs for several years. From the very first day that I started my journey at Gautier Elementary, she has contributed an abundance of integrity, leadership, compassion, and positive energy. She listens to her colleagues and students to find ways to go above and beyond without being asked to do so. She looks at each student individually to see their talents, interests and passions and then delegate accordingly. Mrs. Biggs has an authentic relationship that she tries to build with all students and her colleagues. She has served on many committees ensuring and helping to see our students be the best that they can be. Mrs. Biggs is definitely a life changer for the children and staff members that work with her. Everyone wants to be around someone that makes them smile and feel good about themselves. It's a privilege to work beside someone that is so committed and dedicated to help mold our children into productive citizens.

Mrs. Biggs goes above and beyond to help anyone. Throughout the day she is called upon to do numerous tasks, and she does each one with a positive attitude. She is truly a model citizen for our students. She greets everyone she encounters with a smile, encourages students to do their best, lends a ear when when a student needs to talk, and tutors students who need help. She has helped students realize their talents in rehearsing for talent shows, helped organize can food drives for the needy, and organized multicultural activities at our school. Mrs. Biggs is a life changer!

Ms Biggs "job" may be to teach children computer and keyboarding skills, but she does so much more. As she teaches those academic skills she gently teaches life skills as well. With gentle words and by example, she teaches them to care fo one another and to be kind. I've seen her help little girls fix thier hair, boys to straighten their clothes , praise always for good efforts and successes. In short, she leads helping them to take pride in themselves. She is truly a life changer as she is helping children to choose a positive path into their futures.

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Biggs for several years at GES. We worked together on yearbook, talent show, homecoming, canned food drive, Black History program, Hispanic Heritage program, and Red Ribbon Week. I can tell you first hand that it was because of Mrs. Biggs’ willingness to jump right in and lend a hand that everyone of those events went off without a hitch every year. She possesses exemplary leadership skills. She leads with patience and kindness. Mrs. Biggs is so easy to work with. She puts the team into teamwork. In all of my years working with Mrs. Biggs I only ever saw her be helpful, loving, and supportive to the students at GES. On several occasions I witnessed her giving the snackless snacks from her desk and the most troubled students the most love. Mrs. Biggs is an exceptional co-worker and an extraordinary human. She definitely deserves any accolades that come her way.
