"I had the great privilege of working with Mr. Viramontes as my school counselor for 5 years," said Chavira. "Mr. Viramontes is dedicated to advocating for students' emotional needs. He provides whole group lessons to more than 1000 students and has time to meet individually with students in need. Mr. Viramontes is dedicated to serving his school community as a resource for his teachers and parents. He also provides direct support to the students in the Alternative school program that is located within the school community. Mr. Viramontes is an asset to Escontrias Elementary and Socorro ISD."

I worked with Mr. Viramontes as a 4thgrade teacher at O'Shea Keleher Elementary for several years. He was a steam player and was very supportive of his bilingual students. I could and still ask him for advice with students who have behavioral issues. He is a life changer and truly cares about the kids he works wit. I do miss working with him.

First of all I would like to tell you how we met. A really good friend of mine she was the Parent Liaison at Escontrias she was having one of her classes and he was there. I would like to tell you today about a wonderful caring and dedicated human being he is an advocate for the children you can always count on him to be there for you. If you need help he will never say no to you. Also if you need help like running a concession stand after school and you are running it all alone he will offer to stay and help till the end. I personally like seeing him interact at school with the kids about everything and anything. Any child you ask has nothing but good things to say about Mr.Viramontes
There are some many reasons Mr. Viramontes is a life changer!! First and foremost, he is an outstanding school counselor. As a district employee assigned to his campus. I’ve seen first-hand of his continued efforts in supporting his students and community. From his efforts to assist students in the campus mentoring program to his collegiate showcase. Enrique Viramontes collects toys during the Christmas season and takes it upon himself to coordinate efforts to provide needy students a gift. In my opinion, he is a life changer because of his efforts to support his students never stop after the school bell has sounded and arent' limited to the walls of his school.
Mr. Viramontes symbolizes a true school counselor. As his former Assistant Principal, I would see his dedication to his students and his community. In his work with 'at-risk' students Mr. Viramontes can identify their social emotional needs and intervene. His efforts continue with assisting educators and parents with the student. This ensures a trust support system that connects home and school. It is because of these efforts that he has truly made a difference in students and parents lifes making him a life changer!!

Mr. Viramontes has been a great asset to Escontrias Elementary. He helps our students by providing them with his great counseling skills. He is aside from a counselor, he is a mentor. It is a great experience to visit his classroom and see the magnificent set up he provides for the students. It is a pleasure how he counsels students in turning around a negative situation on to a positive one. Mr. Viramontes has integrity, he is an honest, respectful, caring individual.
Mr Viramontes is by far one of the most dedicated counselors I have ever met.
