LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Elizabeth Holloman was nominated by her colleague, Melissa Suddith.

Ms. Holloman is the absolute epitome of a LifeChanger. She teachers her students to be prepared for college by teaching them to write and critique their own work. She challenges each student to grow and learn through her process. Ms. Holloman does all of this to create an atmosphere of trust and community within her classroom. Her students all know how much she cares and is willing to go the extra mile to help them not only become great writers, but excellent students and citizens.

"Beth is a wonderful example of the teacher we all hope that our children will experience in high school: caring and challenging," said Suddith. "She never ceases to rise above expectations.
