Amy and I are college fraternity sisters, and I am so proud to have the opportunity to sing her praises. When I pledged our music fraternity, Amy was vice president, and I admired her leadership—she was both kind and firm, a rare and wonderful balance. Agreed! She was my son's former principal 2011-2016. My favorite memory is her and I serving in hairnets ?? I'd post the picture if I could. She truly has a servant's heart and cares for everyone she meets.
Amy Klaber was my mentor in my first few years of teaching and it was a very wonderful situation because she was the music teacher before I became the music teacher! She was going into the classroom to begin her administrator journey so she was a wealth of information and shared it all with me! She was so giving of her time and answered all of my questions and really made my first years of teaching that can be so stressful, really enjoyable and started me on the path to success!

I met her years ago when she was a Principal at a prior school my kids attended to.
As a family, we were going through so much, financially and emotionally.
She was the absolute best. She made the time to hear me out, help with resources and even from her and the staff. She always went above and beyond. Her kindness and her encouragement meant soooooo much to me and my family at such a hard and vulnerable time for us. She wasn’t just a principal, she was a human being with humbleness and even a hug available when you needed it. She was so welcoming! I got the pleasure to spend almost every day at that campus volunteering and every day she would make sure I ate , I was comfortable and supplied with materials for my creativity to decorate boards and even teach (assist the teacher)Pre-K some crafts. Till this day I think of her so fondly and carry her words of wisdom and her positivity with me. My kids have grown up and till this day she made such an impact that they still remember her with love and fond memories..

Amy Klaber has been an exceptional leader for as long as I can remember. She helped guide me as I began my teaching career 19 years ago. She never hesitated to help when I had a question or a need and always did it with a big smile on her face. She taught me so much in my early years and I am forever thankful for her. She is so deserving of this award and more!
Amy has always been such a hands on helpful Principal. As the parent of a special education student I have had to develop a closer relationship with the staff at my son's schools and Amy was no exception. My son needed extra help and Amy always made sure to go the extra mile to not only make sure my son had what he needed but that I felt supported as well. I am positive that had my son had any other elementary Principal he would not be the student he is today. She deserves all the recognition she can get.
