Ms. Austin-Long is very positive, engaging, and dedicated. She's hands on with her students and creates engaging lessons in a way where all students will learn on their individual levels. She opens her classroom during her lunch break for students who need extra remediation or simply need to talk.
Evans stated, "She is the lead mentor for new teachers at her school. She has been a teacher for 19 years and has been nominated twice for Teacher of the Year. Over the years, she has served on numerous committees. Camille tutors five days a week, with multiple students at different times after school hours".
