Mary Harper was nominated by Sarah Kock, her principal.

Her positive attitude and ability to establish meaningful relationships with everyone she encounters, be it a student, colleague, or parent, are truly inspiring. Her hard work, dependability, and commitment are a testament to her exceptional work ethic. She is a trustworthy and drama-free presence in her school. 

"Every student knows Mrs. Harper cares about them because it's evident in every interaction," explained Kock.

Her patience and kindness are balanced with high expectations, a winning combination.  She handles challenging student behavior with grace, often breaking through their tough exterior by establishing personal connections.

Kock added, "She has become a quiet leader among her peers, leading by example, and I'm so grateful to have her on our staff!"
