Jennifer Andrus was nominated by a parent of a student, Adrianne Barrett.

"First off, my daughter has ADHD and behavior issues that are close to ODD. She has struggled with school from the beginning, and Mrs. Andrus has brought my daughter compassion and shown her that she can do anything she puts her mind to. Mrs. Andrus is always encouraging her to do her best and to be her best. How she has changed my daughter is so much more than I can say. She challenges her and has helped her come so far," said Barrett.

Jennifer always goes the extra mile for her students. She always gets so excited talking about her students. She is 100% committed to each and every one! She has helped so many students over her teaching career. I wish I lived close enough for my kids to have her as a teacher!

I have watched my wife dedicate her time to building up her students for 25 years! We've attended games, special events, weddings and funerals of her former students because once they are her students they are her kids for life.
