"Ms. Dora is a beloved member of our K-4 school family, which comprises nearly 200 students and 36 staff members. She works diligently to ensure our school is clean and safe, yet she doesn’t stop there. In the morning, she greets the teachers and students by name! It is a beautiful sight to see the way she interacts with students. She regularly asks them about their day, reminds them to make good choices, and shares uplifting words. In the afternoon, she encourages students to finish the day strong and do their homework. Additionally, she is acutely aware of scheduled activities, such as meetings, lunchtime, and recess. Her keen awareness has proven to be extremely helpful during fire drills and emergencies. We are blessed to experience the positive impact Ms. Dora has on our school community," said the nominator.
