She not only excels in maintaining a clean and safe environment but also goes the extra mile to ensure that our school is a place where students can thrive," said Roy-Wood.

"One of Yanette's remarkable qualities is her continuous support for our students. She creates an environment where students feel safe, and her warm and welcoming presence fosters a sense of community. Countless times, I have witnessed Yanette offering a kind word, a reassuring smile, or a helping hand to students who needed it, making our school a more nurturing place," said Roy-Wood. "She assists on the playground during lunch recess, helping students play together and have fun together every day."

"Yanette's dedication to safety is nothing short of remarkable. She is a true leader in ensuring the well-being of our school community. Her vigilance and quick response in emergencies, combined with her calm and reassuring demeanor, have profoundly impacted the safety and security of our students and staff. She assists our student leaders and staff during our weekly morning meetings and is a true cheerleader for our school," said Roy-Wood.
