Daniel Becerra was nominated by a colleague, Alicia Collier.

He is commended for his ability to create a safe and clean learning environment, which is crucial for the well-being and productivity of all involved," said Collier. "His commitment to fostering a positive atmosphere through interactions with students and teachers is commendable and contributes to a nurturing educational environment."

Mr. Becerra is the sweetest and always greets you with a smile. He is always working hard and willing to lend a helping hand.
He's the sweetest, everyday he puts a smile not only on our faces as coworkers, but the faces of every student he encounters. Always smiling and speaking to us. Never rude or disrespectful. Always so helpful and its such a pleasure. No matter how hard a day is, he brings a light to our days and all while still doing his job to keep our school clean, beautiful and safe. We love Mr. Becerra and all that he does for our campus.
Mr. Becerra is an amazing person. He is a dedicated, hard working and trustworthy member of the community. His commitment to the staff and students is to be recognized. He builds relationships with all stakeholders and is a true advocate for students. Thank you Mr. Becerra for all you do for Sky Harbour. It is truly appreciated.

Mr. Becerra is a hard-working, dedicated person very humble at heart and always willing to go above and beyond for the Students and staff at his Campus. He builds relationships with our Students and staff members and always contributes towards making everyone feel at home and cared for, I don't know a Student or staff member who isn't quick to wave at him from down the hall or who doesn't enjoy making a quick stop to have a small chat with him. Mr. Becerra contributes so much positivity to our Campus and knows his colleagues and Students well enough to spot when someone isn't having the best day and never hesitate to share some words of encouragement and positivity. I am grateful to work with such a wonderful and generous soul!

Mr. Becerra is more than just a custodian, he is like family to everyone in the campus and to all who have previously worked with him. He does everything he can to help everyone out regardless of how busy he is. He takes time out of his weekends as well to assist all staff and students with afterschool programs and events. He also makes an effort to attend, support, cheer, and congratulate the students at their events. His generosity, loving, and caring attitude always puts a smile on all staff and students faces. Mr. Becerra is definitely well deserving of the Life Changer of the Year Award.
Mr. Becerra is an exceptional human-being. His hard work and dedication to our school doesn't go unnoticed. He is always willing to help when needed. His positivity is contagious. He always brings humor in conversations and makes our work environment fun and positive. He makes a difference in the lives of our students and staff at Sky Harbour Elementary. This recognition is truly deserving!
Working with Mr. Daniel Becerra is something I’ll cherish forever. My students always enjoyed his company as did I. He is kind, generous and very respectful. I think as adults sometimes in the school setting we forget that the students deserve the same respect as we are asking from them, but Mr. Becerra didn’t. No matter who you are or what role you played, he respected you. His acts of kindness truly sets him apart from others. We looked forward to seeing him everyday and the days we didn’t get to our days always felt like we were missing something. He has definitely made a positive impact on my life and I know I can say the same for the students. He was our hallway & classroom super hero always coming to save the day. Love you Mr. Becerra! You deserve this.
A huge thank you to Mr. Becerra for his dedication to cleaning and maintaining our building. He may think that no one notices his hard work, but we do – each and every day. The cleanliness and efficiency of the building is amazing ! He is greatly appreciated!
