Jill Strader was nominated by a colleague.

"Jill has worked at Creswell Middle School for over 25 years. She is that friendly face you see when you walk into the office," said the nominator. "Students and staff love her. She always has a kind word and a smile for everyone. She is one of the first people to be at school and volunteers for extra duties such as dances, chaperoning field trips, and helping staff out when they have a family issue. She has successfully led groups of community members, students, and parents to Washington DC and New York since 2001. Her office gets filled with staff each morning just to get a hug or a kind word."

Jill was an outstanding Registrar at CMS for numerous years. Although retired, she continues to "sub" at our school and train staff whenever needed. In addition, Jill is also an incredible person. She is super thoughtful, spirited, and goes out of her way to make other people feel loved. I appreciate that when my family moved to Oregon 3 years ago, Jill welcomed us with open arms and went out of her way to be a special "grandma" to my son. Jill truly is a LifeChanger.
