Music that Describes Guillermo

Guillermo Vargas was nominated by a former principal, Pedro Sanchez Jr.

"Mr. Guillermo Vargas is a true blessing to Coakley Middle School; he is part of the heart of the school. I arrived at Coakley Middle School back in 2012, and Guillermo had already been there years before me," said Sanchez Jr. "It did not take long at all to recognize/acknowledge Guillermo's passion for his work, for his school, for his students, and his community. In everything he does, Guillermo always takes so much pride! Not only does he complete his work extremely well in advance of what one would expect, but he always checks in to see if the work is up to one's standards or if there is a need to change anything or do anything additional to make things better."

"Coakley Middle School is now 61 years old, and Guillermo and his team have kept the campus in tip-top shape for all stakeholders--teachers, staff, parents, community members, and most importantly, the students. Guillermo has helped ensure that our beloved campus is safe, clean, orderly, and a great learning environment for its students. I have jokingly coined Guillermo as the Tom Brady of custodians because he is so amazing at his job, and he loves his job," said Sanchez Jr.

"I conclude with re-iterating that Guillermo is a true blessing for our campus--Coakley Middle School. Guillermo always has a smile on his face. He is a gentle soul, never complains, and puts in the extra time when needed. He has the heart of a servant leader, and he genuinely cares for all of his Coakley Family. We love him very much and are so proud and, more than anything, grateful to have him be a part of our lives and Coakley Family," said Sanchez Jr.
