Joel Bresler was nominated by a student.

"Mr. Bresler is a teacher like no other," said the student. "I have never had a teacher so dedicated and caring towards all his students. He has changed the lives of so many students in many ways. He is understanding and accepting of all but keeps students accountable. Everyone who goes through the classes he teaches is successful and fully understands the concepts he teaches. He puts in so much time, effort, and dedication to be there for his students- whether in class or supporting students outside of class at sporting events and other activities. He has a wall in his room of pictures of students' accomplishments over the years and is always excited to teach a new set of kids. He is one of the only teachers I have ever had who, no matter how confused or stuck you are, as long as you are trying, will stop what he is doing and make sure you understand before moving forward in the lesson."

"Even with his hectic schedule teaching five different courses, working at and with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, after school clubs, taking care of family, as well as working with other businesses and corporations (for partnerships in projects in class), he always finds time to help other teachers, parents, and students," said the student. "We all come to class daily knowing that we will learn new information every day. That statement has rang true since my freshman year. He is a very dedicated, inspiring, and caring teacher. He gives me the confidence to pursue the careers I want to achieve. If you asked any kid who has had his class, they would tell you how greatly he has impacted each of our lives."
