"Lance has had some serious health struggles over the past year. He made a lifestyle change to become healthier, which has allowed him to step up as head custodian when our head custodian went out on medical leave," said the nominator.
"People are always calling Lance on the radio to come clean up a spill, take items that were delivered to storage, clean a classroom, fix furniture, or unclog a toilet or sink. He is asked to do endless things, but he never complains and completes the job," said the nominator.
"He deserves to be nominated and hopefully win for all the positive lifestyle and work changes he has made and stepped up to," said the nominator.
