Levi Gregg was nominated by a colleague, Janet Watson.
"Mr. Levi always comes to work," said Watson. "He has the best attitude - smiling at adults and students. He is the only daytime custodian, and he assists the entire staff. Mr. Levi changed the cafeteria manager's tire (put her spare on and cleaned up branches and an enormous amount of outside storm debris after the last tropical storm. He also worked tirelessly in sterilizing classrooms during the COVID-19 pandemic, and rearranged the cafeteria tables and the media center for all the special events/picture day/assemblies. These are only a few examples of how Mr. Levi goes above and beyond what is expected of him."
"My colleague called him over the walkie to come and squish a bug," said Watson. "Mr. Levi does the big and the little jobs. He has been at Crosspointe Elementary for 22 years. He is retiring at the end of this school year. I'm not sure how the school will function without him on campus. He has been a blessing to our school with his hard work, dedication, and great attitude."
