He understands that safe transportation and a clean and well-kept school is not just a job, but plays a crucial role in creating a positive learning environment for our students," said the nominator.

"As a resident of Somerset County, he is active in the community and understands the importance of building relationships with other community members. Whether picking up students or working in the school, he makes the time to get to know everyone he encounters. Because of prior relationships he has built, he is often familiar with the families of many students he sees daily. These relationships help him understand the students and any struggles they may be facing. His warm smile, patience, and caring attitude create a positive atmosphere in the school and on the bus, where students feel valued and safe. This not only helps alleviate any anxieties related to school but also fosters a sense of belonging and community among the students," said the nominator.
