Cedrick Ruff was nominated by his principal, Melissa Rabon.
"Mr. Cedrick is a part-time custodian at our school," said Rabon. "He comes in every single day with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. He speaks to everyone and goes out of his way to help anyone who needs him. Over the last two years, he has stepped up as the full-time custodian after the person in that position left. Each time they have left, Cedrick has volunteered to work more hours until we could get that position filled. He never complains, and he's such a great asset to our school."
