LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Maleigha Trahan was nominated by a colleague who wished to remain anonymous.

Science topics and Disneyworld come to life in Mrs. Trahan's class.  You can walk into her classroom and feel the excitement her students have about reading and math.  She plans engaging lessons to hook her students.  Students leave her classroom well prepared for fourth grade.  She works with parents to help her students succeed.

Mrs. Trahan has a positive relationship with teachers, students, and parents.  She is always willing to help any staff member with any tasks.  She is very patient with students and loves them very much.  Her room is very calming, and students are very eager to answer questions. Mrs. Trahan volunteers to help with any event at school.  She plans collaboratively with her team.
