LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Matthew Fritzius was nominated by an anonymous parent of a student.

Mr. Fritzius is one one of four Assistant Principals at Plantation High School and stands out as a leader, mentor, role model, cheerleader, and community member.  No matter the event, the time, or the location, you can always count on Mr. Fritzius to be there representing Plantation High.  He lives and participates in the community, and he encourages others to participate and be active members of the community as well. He sets high, but attainable expectations for himself and does the same for the students and staff at the school.

Mr. Fritzius never requires anyone to do something he wouldn't do himself.  He is a positive role model for the students and his peers. It's important to him that he dresses for success because he believes when you look good, you feel good and you perform well.

"He truly enjoys what he does and appreciates each and every person's contribution to making his day a success," his nominator said.
