Fred Richard was nominated by a colleague, Jacqueline Pennington.

Mr. Richard is an exceptionally motivated, energized, and enthusiastic leader. Before becoming principal, he has served as assistant principal, athletics director, and interim principal, never missing a beat or a day of school. 

"His impeccable leadership and organizational skills are worthy of emulation. In my seven years of working with him, I’ve never known of him to be tardy or absent," Pennington said. "He is always ready to work and always does a tremendous job, no matter the task.
