Hope Christler-Jackson was nominated by a friend, Kevin Brown, and by a colleague who wishes to remain anonymous.
Ms. Christler-Jackson has dedicated her life’s work to being a devoted social worker, community servant, and mother to her children. She exemplifies her love of the community through service and involvement with her nonprofit sorority Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She enjoys assisting children with obtaining community service hours and gaining access to reading material. Recently, Ms. Christler-Jackson decided to run for city commissioner after years of working to address her hometown's struggles.
She continues to advocate on behalf of the elderly, low-income residents, and the youth within the community. In her school, she eagerly embraced her role as a first year teacher and testing coordinator. She willingly accepted these roles with confidence and perseverance. For the upcoming school year, Ms. Christler-Jackson started a PTO with the goal of maintaining a positive relationship with parents, students and the community, increasing student safety and security, and developing programs that will support and enrich the curriculum.
"She always says that she takes the school motto with her daily.. to Build, Believe and Bloom scholars," Brown said.
"Hope is truly a hardworking, motivated, and dedicated individual. She always gives her best and strives for better in all of her endeavors. She's undoubtedly a great asset to our community and a LifeChanger," her colleague said.

When I first met Hope in college, she was a driven, dedicated and optimistic young lady. Everyone loved her and wanted to be around her positive energy. Hope would go above and beyond to be a helping hand in any way that she could. She has carried these same characteristics into her professional life and I wish her continued success in all that she do.

I had to opportunity to meet Ms Jackson through social media and I knew she was a leader.She’s very hands on and willing to get the job done!She’s a positive figure and when ppl doubted her she prove them wrong so I can only imagine how she will impact those students each and every day.
Mrs. Hope is a very caring individual, she is dedicated to helping the youth and the elderly in the community. She fights hard for what is fair and right. She is a dedicated mother, family member, friend, mentor, teacher to many people. Mrs. Hope, is a very determined person to make a positive difference. I salute you on your platform.
Ms. Jackson is a wonderful person. She is still here with the custodial staff working late hours for the students. It's amazing the things she has accomplished while working here at the school.

This is my second year working with Ms. Jackson at Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary School. She is an outgoing, organized, teacher and mother. She tries to go above and beyond for our students on a daily basis. Hope drives over 1 1/2 hours to get to work daily with her children, and most of the time she leaves late. Her dedication to the students within the community she works is amazing. Not to mention the dedication to her hometown. I remember speaking with her about running for City Commissioner..... she is very knowledgeable when it comes to speaking on the needs of her community. I can honestly see her going places, and becoming someone our students will remember that made a huge impact!

I’m am very proud of my fiancée. Hope puts in a lot of long hours making sure everything is organized at work. She has the gift for reaching to community partners to get involved with her students. I can the phone calls, her attending commission meetings, and having conference calls to get different events put in place. She is continuously helping the elderly, and other individuals in the community get registered to vote. As well as educating them about their rights when dealing with city policies and procedures. Mrs. Jackson, throughout her many endeavors relating to community improvement, exemplifies what it means to do the unglamorous, yet necessary work in order to achieve her goals. She has continued to honor her word as someone committed to helping improve the quality of life for the residents of our community and as such she has undoubtedly changed my life, and others, for the better.
