Michaelle Fohey was nominated by her principal, Brian Jobe.

According to Jobe, nobody demonstrates the consummate educational professional better than Ms. Fohey. From her sense of style to her dedication to detail, Ms. Fohey bleeds green for North Callaway. Every single morning, before anyone else gets to school, she sends out her daily Morning Motivation E-Mail. This morning tradition always has two or three sentences, a couple of memes, and a link to an inspirational YouTube video. These funny, inspirational, sappy, or witty quips are a microcosm of how Ms. Fohey goes about her job.

Ms. Fohey is consistently working towards improving the lives of those around her; whether it's students, staff, administration or parents. She is a person who leads through modeling character and high expectation.

"She greets, smiles, and jokes through the most difficult of times and never misses the opportunity to nudge a kid towards better decisions in her own little way," Jobe said. "Michaelle Fohey has a positive effect on everyone she comes in contact with. She is a real LifeChanger, and North Callaway is proud to claim her."

Michaelle is such a positive light and a blessing to everyone around her. Couple that with her intelligence and efficiency, she really is a life changer! She is selfless in all situations, putting others before herself. She shines the light of Christ on those around her. I am so honored to call her my friend.

I first met Michaelle when she was the Secretary for NC's elementary school. She was very friendly, pleasant, good natured, good humored individual from the get go. She was always so calm when dealing with a hectic office. She and Mr. Jobe worked so well together, they made a wonderful team. I was so sorry to see them both move to the HS as I still had kids in the elementary school but was also so happy to see them move to the HS and I have kids there as well. Michaelle is the perfect role model for everyone! NCHS is lucky to have her!

WOW!!! Michaelle Fohey is a person who is almost beyond description. She is one of the most thoughtful and encouraging ladies I have ever and the pleasure to know. She is always looking for ways to help lighten someone's load. She can light up a room with her smile and encouraging words. She is the first at meetings and always goes the "extra mile" to make sure people are comfortable and feel welcomed. I can't imagine anyone I would rather work with in touching peoples' lives than Michaelle Fohey.

I’ve known Michaelle Fohey my entire life, she’s my wonderful aunt! She comes from a family full of loving educators, and simply wants what’s in everyone’s best interest! Michaelle Fohey is a rockstar! She always reaches out to make the most in all of children. She knows what it takes to put a spark in a child no matter what their upbringiings were. Her father never missed an opportunity to connect with a child that was in need of love and parent- connection. She did not fall far from the apple tree.....LOVE who she is and the gifts she has to offer.....

Michaelle IS a "model" in the most valuable way: the model of love, the model of giving, the model of not missing an opportunity to do good, a model of self sacrifice and truly . . . a model of JOY even when she 'feels' it not.
