Tracey McKay was nominated by a colleague, Rebecca Russell.

"Tracey McKay ensures that everyone she comes into contact with has a wonderful day because she is a ray of sunshine," said Russell. "Mrs. McKay has been teaching for over twenty years in the public schools, and she has been the department head at Brandon High School for as long as I can remember, as she is an amazing leader. Tracey always leads by positive example. Tracey always chooses to do the right thing over the most popular thing in all instances. Mrs. McKay taught my son two years ago, and she was so kind and patient with him. She works hard to make sure every student is learning, no matter their speed. Tracey McKay is truly a LifeChanger at Brandon High School."
