Music that Describes Rebecca

Mrs. Sprouse helped turn around the entire morale of the students by being more than a lunch lady. Kids came in so depressed and solemn, but they opened up and became such respectful students with her. They would make sure she showed up for work!

Mrs. Sprouse has been to all their games and events, and she goes above and beyond to get to know each kid. In return, her school has changed things to include cafeteria staff in everything. The coaches are making sure to use Mrs. Sprouse in more of the sporting events. For example, she made two signs for the boys before every game. They are so excited to see these signs, they always touch them before their game for "good luck." Even being two hours away, Mrs. Sprouse is there for  her students!

I've known Becca for nearly 2 years now, and I have seen her dedication to everything she does. She loves each and every one of "her kids" at Tom Bean and really invests her time and energy into making their day positive and rewarding. I love hearing the anecdotes of a student that opened up and talked more or just needed a little encouragement. Becca is always there for them and loves them so much.

Rebecca is an inspiration! She has done so many many important jobs in her lifetime, but you can tell by how she connects with kids that being a cafeteria worker ranks right up there at the top. She is so loved in our community, because she loves first. She’s quick with a smile, quick with a compliment, and quick to go out of her way for others. Rebecca has a true servant’s heart.

So Deserving!!! She has such a servants heart and always putting others in front her! Not a day I haven’t had a sweat tea waiting on me after lunch in 2 years !!

One of the most caring people I’ve ever met. It’s not her profession it’s her calling! She always makes a point to connect on some level with every person she comes in contact with everyday. She is also a person that will take on any task to help. No task is too big or small.

I've known Becca for a little while. She puts a smile on every face. Regularly goes out of her way to help everyone. She's got a contagious fun spirit and yet will hug you when you are down. She's relentless in making sure you always feel included and part of the group.

Becca is a great addition to any group. She is a wonderful daughter in law.

I have known Rebecca for 40 years and she is the definition of public servant. She has been a paramedic, fire fighter and police officer; but I personally know that she treats being a lunch lady as more than just a job. It's the highest form of public service and the leadership and dedication to the kids is her priority. Very deserving of this nomination and award.

Rebecca is such an amazing person and friend! No matter what if you’re around her she will put a smile on your face. I can’t think of anyone more deserving for this award.

Becca puts 100% into her job at TBHS. She goes beyond the lunchroom supporting the kids and coaches at sporting events and takes extra time to be an especially involved parent - that’s a LifeChanger in our book for sure!!
