Ms. Williams' journey in education began as a middle school math teacher, where her passion for inspiring young minds and nurturing their growth became evident. She quickly ascended to leadership roles at the building, district, and University levels, demonstrating her exceptional educational administration and advocacy skills.

In 2015, Ms. Williams' profound commitment to empowering students led her to establish Generation Success, a non-profit organization based in New Orleans. Through this initiative, Ms. Williams has provided invaluable educational support, advocacy, programming, and training to students, families, educators, and school systems. The summer and school-year enrichment programs offered by Generation Success have consistently yielded remarkable gains, demonstrating the impact of Ms. Williams' leadership and innovative approaches.

Her visionary spirit and determination to effect lasting change led her to establish Aba Healing Academy, a K-9 private micro-school in New Orleans. As the Head of School, Ms. Williams has created a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where flexible age classes, play-based learning and development, a therapy dog program, and African religious concepts are the pillars of the curriculum. By combining her clinical mental health and education degrees, Ms. Williams has developed a holistic approach to education that empowers students to become well-rounded community leaders and advocates.

Notably, Ms. Williams' has also participated in design fellowships with esteemed organizations such as 4.0, Camelback Ventures, and The Mind Trust. Through these experiences, she has honed her skills as an innovative thinker and collaborator, constantly seeking new ways to push the boundaries of education and create meaningful change.

Her impact extends far beyond the walls of the classroom. She has built strong partnerships with communities across New Orleans and Metairie, fostering a sense of belonging and empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to shape the future of education together.

Mrs. Williams is the best boss that I have ever had. She leads from the heart, day in and day out. She has instilled a vision in our school that we live, breathe, and place into action with every process, procedure, and enrollment. Brandy, having been my teacher over a decade ago, had the biggest impact on my life as a teacher. Not only is she a great educator, she’s an amazing mentor, and an incredibly resilient individual. Getting to know Mrs. Williams has been a blessing for me and my family. After struggling for several years with my autistic child I was helpless. Brandy has not only dedicated her time and many years of expertise in education to the students she has encountered but she also dedicates her heart. She does this by planning for each student based on their unique needs. There isn't a grand number of words to that I can use to express my joy and love for Mrs. Williams. As an advocate, a boss, a school founder, a leader, everything...She is amazing! I listen and hear how her students love her, miss her energy, and express how much she has meant to them, and it brings tears to my eyes! Her advocacy for my son, and so many others that she had helped, makes my heart smile. I am appreciative and in awe of her work!
