Ms. Head is an amazing teacher with a genuine heart for her students. She reaches across economic and racial boundaries to reach each student. She devotes personal time to support students in endeavors outside of school by doing such things as going to plays they may be performing in and assisting with choral programs after her regularly scheduled work hours. Ms. Head is truly a gem, showing all students that it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from - you are special and have talents to share, and you can aspire to be whatever you wish in life. She is a true encourager with a kind heart and sincere motives toward everyone!

Sarah's service above self is unmatched. She spends countless hours during the school week making life better for her students and the community as a whole. She also spends weeks of her summer break leading local teens in repairing homes for elderly shut ins. Her character and professionalism are refreshing and a great example for her peers.
This is an amazing woman. She has helped our daughter so much with school. She has also shown support for our daughter in her barrel racong journey by watching and commenting on our daughters videos. Our daughter Hayleigh is now in her pizzazz group at Hillcrest. Ms. Head has definitely touched a place in Hayleighs heart and we truly appreciate everything she does. No one is more deserving! This was the girl who, at six years old, was lining up her dolls in order to teach them in "School." This was the girl in high school who assisted other teachers when she could have been out having fun. If you asked her then, she would have told you she was having fun. This was the girl who, in college, went back to her elementary school 800 miles away because she wanted to instill the love for teaching in the children who learned in the same rooms she had been inspired in. When offered a position in a prestigious private school, she chose instead to to teach in a public Title I school because she knew she could make a difference there. This is the woman who created a safe space in church for teens to share and learn and grow. This is the woman who helped start a tutoring program at her church and freely gives her time to see those kids blossom and learn. This is the woman who not only went to to Guatemala to minister to orphans there but, two years later, dragged a whole team there too. This is the girl I held in my arms as a baby. This is the woman I am so proud to call my daughter. She is already a LifeChanger to myriad children and adults all over the world.
Sarah and is one of the most wonderful people in the world and she deserves the title of Life changer of the year because of all the wonderful things she does to promote Jesus and help everybody she knows including the kids that she teaches.
Sarah so deserves this. She goes above and beyond for her students. She helped my granddaughter so much last year. My granddaughter loves her and has now moved on to 4th grade but has decided to join the Pizzazz chorus so she can still be around Miss Head. She supports her students and goes above and beyond for them.
I've known Sarah for roughly 10 years now, and she has always had one of the most pure and kind hearts I have ever witnessed! Even as a teenager in youth group, she made a positive impact on everyone around her (including helping me personally realize my love for singing). It was no suprise to me when she chose to become a teacher and no more of a surprise when I found out she was nominated for this award. There is no one more deserving to receive life changer of the year!
Mrs. Head is an awesome teacher and she really puts her heart into every student she sees. She is always bright and a joy to be around. My children love having her!
Sarah is the hardest working teacher I have ever met. She spends hours working overtime trying to make sure she and her 3rd grade team have the tools they need to reach EVERY child!! From creating an area in her room for children to calm down and gain control of emotions, personal encouraging notes to them, songs to teach all subjects better, hands-on activities for children who respond better to movement, she gives teaching children her ALL!! and then she teaches youth and adults alike On Wednesdays and Sundays at church. She leads youth retreats on the weekends and mission trips to Guatemala in the summer. I also must let you know that she drives and picks up many youth and young adults and brings them to events giving up much of her time to transport those that are without transportation. I say all these things not just because she's my daughter, but because I KNOW her sacrificial heart and her life-changing spirit!
Sarah is a passionate, kind-hearted, and loving individual who pours her heart into everything she does. She is definitely a life changer!!
Ms. Head is a very dedicated and loving teacher. She goes above and beyond for her students not only with school work but also taking the extra few minutes to show that she cares for them even when they mess up.

Sarah is a very caring and committed teacher. She is very kind and passionate about what she does. I have known Sarah since her family moved to Florida. She is involved in teaching youth both in school and out. She strives to make learning and fun a priority for all young people of all ages. I am very thankful for the love and kindness that she has always shown my sons.
Sarah changes lives every day of her life! Her love of the LORD and her relationship with Him undergirds every encounter she has with anyone....child, youth or adult. Out of her big heart does she offer her talents willingly to one and all. She has honed those talents through professional training and truly does change lives by giving love, hope and inspiration on a minute-by-minute basis. She would be an excellent recipient of this award!!
I am currently working with Ms. Head going on my second year and she is absolutely amazing! She is very dedicated to her students & puts in many long and extra hours to make sure that they are getting everything they need. She is a great & most deserving finalists! I worked with Sarah two years ago and she is an amazing teacher who cares for each and everyone of her students. Sarah is a very giving person and helps everyone she meets! She is very dedicated to her students and helps with chorus, tutoring and many days is still at work after 6:00 pm at night when our work day ends at 3:15! Sarah definitely supports her students outside of school....I remember going with her to a softball game for one of our students. Sarah is definitely a Life Changer!

Sarah not only is a great teacher, youth leader at her church, volunteer for special needs, and says some of the most beautiful prayers in Wednesday night service. She is a daughter that anyone could be proud of. She works tirelessly in VBS in the summer. She always has a skit ready for everyone to enjoy. Sarah is truly a life changer!
