LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

LaBrian Stewart was nominated by Allan Dell'Antonio, a member of his community.

Mr. Stewart is someone who Dell’Antonio would consider to be uncommon. He chooses to go above and beyond what we all have the ability to do, but most choose not to.

Dell’Antonio has watched Mr. Stewart make a beneficial differences in lives of those around him in adverse conditions. He gives those around him a voice; a voice of passion, faith and belief that they as a student have an opportunity to be whatever they choose. 

Having endured personal set-backs as an athletic director and head coach, Mr. Stewart has taken something unpromising and used it to motivate other students, staff and administrators. 

Mr. Stewart also has a performance center that he encourages all students to attend in order to receive help with academic and athletic performance.

"Mr. Stewart carries a message of hope, admiration and most importantly, citizenship sustainability," Dell’Antonio said. "He does these things on his own time and often on his own dime. Showing a child a possibility and teaching a child how to overcome enables growth in character. As an educator and a facilitator, I consider this man a LifeChanger."
