Ms. Reed recently finished her first year as an assistant principal at Kathryn McWhorter Elementary School. She is a wonderful educator who has so much passion for her job and the students.
"There is no job within our school that is too big or too small for Ms. Reed," the nominator said. "Our parking lot becomes quite congested in the mornings, and Ms. Reed took it upon herself to become a crossing guard in the parking lot in the early mornings to keep things flowing."
"I've had private discussions with her and see the passion in her eyes behind tears because her heart is so big," the nominator continued. "She truly will do whatever it takes to help make our children successful. She's only been here a little over 5 months but please believe me...she has truly shown to be an asset to our building."
