Mrs. Frederick has a passion and drive for both her students and education. She loves what she does and it shows from the moment she arrives until the time she leaves. Parents say all the time how much Mrs. Frederick means to their children. She is a rapport builder with her students and their families. She uses her own money and resources to provide for her students. Mrs. Frederick, like her students, is a learner. She brings fresh ideas into her classroom and is not afraid to try something new.

Mrs. Frederick eas my daughters 3rd grade teacher. She absolutely loves her students. She's an amazing teacher. Jacey W. never felt left out in her classroom. She spent alot of one on one time and made sure she understood each subject. If any problems came up I knew immediately and it was resolved. She deserves this award.
Melynda Frederick is an amazing teacher/person. I served as the receptionist for Odin School for about a year and half. She spends most of her summer working on her classroom. She truly loves her students and teaching. She taught to be a better and more loving person. I'm so blessed that I got to work with her. You are a super hero!

I have had the pleasure of "teaching" in Melynda's classroom as a guest who comes in and talks to the kids about nutrition. She is truly one of a kind. The behavior of her students is unlike any other classroom I visit and I credit that to her love of education and experience. Every monent is a teachable opportunity. She is excellent at incorporating new teaching techniques into learning. She truly is a lifechanger for each student that has the pleasure of learning in her classroom.

I am happy to say she definitely follows the theme she had this year for her classroom, which was superheroes. Mrs Frederick is the best at getting the most out of her class and has built such a rapport with them that they love coming to school to see whatbtheybare doing every day. She is a great role model and mentor for students and colleagues. She is usually one the first to arrive and is almost always the last to leave as she finishes her preparations for the next day. I met Melynda many years ago through Little League baseball. She is a positive, loving person who spreads those attributes to those around her.
