Ryan Reardon was nominated by his colleague, Randall Deich.
Dr. Reardon took over Lauderhill 6-12 STEM-MED School in 2013 as the principal. He brought years of experience with him and hired highly effective teachers and staff. He made a school that was once under 500 students into a robust and interactive school community. The school has graduated 100 percent of its seniors and sent them all to college with scholarships.
"He is a game changer," Deich said. "We have brought hope and developed programs of computer science, life skill training, and fire and EMT training. He doesn't sleep. He lives and breathes to make our inner city school now near a 'B' rating."
