Ms. Owens is the most spirited person in the building. She keeps a positive attitude from Monday-Friday. The kids just love her!! She is definitely a LIFE CHANGER!!!!!

Tamar is an educator with a passion for teaching. As an educator in Pleasantville, she sets the tone for excellence and expects it from all, students, staff members and the community. She is a military veteran. Her leadership is a driving force in the District and she deserves the acknowledgement. She really cares about the children and displays it by preparing all of her students for the real world. She is a positive LifeChanger here in the community of Pleasantville, NJ. You rock Tamar! I have known Ms. Owens for several years and she is a staple of Pleasantville Public Schools. She is the unofficial hype person of the district :-). She is nominated to be the MC of any event happening in the community. She is very energetic and uplifting and that shows in her classroom. Her students love her and she loves them even more!! She is definitely a LifeChanger here at Leeds Avenue School!
