Mrs. Juarez is an excellent math teacher who has a big heart. Twice a week, she volunteers her time during lunch to offer tutoring to her students. She is a very caring educator who is able to connect with her students. Mrs. Juarez is so loved by her students that many of them call her Mom. She provides a great learning environment that is welcoming and optimized for learning.
She has been teaching for 20 years and has served as a sponsor for Garfield’s first robotics club. She has been instrumental in raising the math scores for the school, and in helping students achieve their goals of graduating and preparing to enter a four-year university.
