Eileen Edwards was nominated by Tiffany Lange, the parent of a student.

Ms. Edwards has taught Lange's daugher, Jordan, for the past two years. She is a phenomenal Jazz teacher. She challenges and pushes all of her students to get out of their comfort zone and really strive for excellence. Jordan is in the best shape of her life after spending time with her. Ms. Edwards truly teaches her students how to optimize their bodies in order to be able to move in the amazing and artistic way that she wants them to move. Her choreography is always stunning and showcases each dancer's strengths. While playing on Jordan's strengths, Ms. Edwards works tirelessly to help Jordan fix her weaknesses.

Ms. Edwards is constantly looking for opportunities outside the classroom to expose her students to. She chaperoned a school trip to NYC and organized a class at the world-renowned jazz studio started by jazz great, Luigi.

"Jordan learned so much from the opportunities that Ms. Edwards has presented her with," Lange said. "She is a LifeChanger!"

Eileen Edwards is one of the most amazing dance teachers I know. My daughter had her for a teacher many years ago. My daughter was a classically trained ballet dancer thinking that was all she could do. However, Eileen gave her the strength to believe in herself that there was more and because of this, my daughter blossomed and realized she had many strengths. Eileen is the epitome of what a teacher should be; caring, compassionate, firm and artistic. I attribute who my daughter is today from the lessons she learned from Eileen Edwards, a true LifeChanger!!!

Eileen is an amazing teacher and choreographer. Her knowledge of dance informs her choices in her choreography and helps her students better understand their own talent as young artists. Her work is designed to showcase the art form and the achievements of all students not just the the technically proficient. Her methods help students strive for excellence. She cares about the students and works tirelessly to ensure their success.

Eileen is one of the the most amazing dance teachers I have ever met. She taught my daughter years ago and encouraged her to believe in herself;in that she was capable of all forms of dance besides classical ballet. My daughter trusted her and because of that excelled and does to this day!!! She is a Life Changer!!!!
